Library Skills
Students begin to learn about the workings of a library and start to become familiar with terms such as author, illustrator, non-fiction, fiction and so on.
They are exposed to a range of literature and participate in activities to reinforce these skills.
Ask your student about the 'secret code' of the library. We act as detectives to seek and find our resources.
Each term students will be increasing their skill set with the aim for all students to be able to successfully retrieve and return books to their allocated spots.
